I have really enjoyed working here, in my opinion the best things about this job are:
Autonomy. We get to work on our own schedule. Nobody is scheduling appointments on my calendar. This gives me a ton of freedom to see the best patients based on when and where I think they're most suited (and rested).
Communication. I like how the company is very transparent on how all of us are being compensated. I also check off what I work on, I mean, I earn more.
Clarity on expectations. Our EHR has a "row of faults" but there are very pretty clear directions about what to do if we do "mess up."
Rule 1: "use good judgment in all that you do."
Rule 2: If you're not sure best to see in person even though you see them in person
Our full time is expected to see 25 patients a week.
✔️ Fun team, great management, good pay, and positive environment.
As a part-time employee, I have found the autonomy over my schedule is key! There is complete agency over your panel/caseload at this group practice AND built-in support/systems in place to help build your caseload, access referrals, and collaborate with peers. The culture has been minimal on drama and is warm, efficient, and clinical. I still feel strongly connected with the other clinicians at the practice and I know I have support available as needed.
We are structured to really be able to focus on the clinical work and have such a collaborative/admin/scheduler partner who guides us on clinical needs!
The clinical director is incredibly approachable. She is proactive and responsive in her role and, most importantly, keeps things real (i.e., validates some of the inevitable frustrations of our roles like documentation!).
✔️ Clinical support, responsive leadership
I am lucky to have worked at MHM Practice for almost a year. What I appreciate most about this practice is that I have full autonomy over my schedule and can work independently, while also having amazing coworkers I can lean on for support. The leadership team fosters an open, collaborative environment where opinions are valued. The leadership team works hard to provide us with competitive compensation and prioritizes our well-being. I was warmly welcomed to this practice day 1 and I am proud to work for this practice.
✔️ Great coworkers, full autonomy of schedule, nice office space
